On a Personal Note:
The most frequently asked question
that I hear is, “Why did you become a fundraising auctioneer?”
I believe that I was led into this unique field first and foremost, because of my passion and commitment to making a difference.
Back when I was a teenager,
I decided to help young adolescent girls who decided to lead a life of prostitution. When I was 14 to the age of 17, I rescued over 100 girls from sex slavery. This passion to help others early on in life has fueled my enthusiasm to continue this compassion into my adulthood.
I have had the utmost privilege over a course of many years, to share my life story of hardships & triumphs to a hundreds of audiences.
This, I believe, has paved the way for me to become a successful fundraising auctioneer encouraging audiences of all types of backgrounds and demographics, to open up their hearts and their pocket-books to make a DIFFERENCE in the lives of others.
My favorite quote, from the late Erma Bombeck...
“When I stand before God at the end of
my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left and I could say, “I used everything you gave me.”
Committed to making a difference,
Karen
“People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” - Zig Ziglar
“There is a place where your specialness can shine. Somewhere that difference can be expressed. It’s up to you to find it and you can.” - David Niscott
